Agree with all above re ground. Went hoping for bonus point so the result was great. All played well. Thought Cravens try was exceptional and Richie seems to get better every game. Safe hands and good metres. Must give Bomber a mention. Kept us all amused on coach and in pubs. Thanks lads for great day out.

A great game, cougars made the Eagles look ordinary today
Yeres had a big part to play in the opening try, I'm sure he was picked out as a danger man and therefore the team gathering following the try would have reiterated the classroom talk, Yeres was kept quiet for the rest of the game.
Also good to see the Cougars learn from their mistakes, the scrum resulting in Craven try was quite obviously a cougar attempt at 'doing a Haven', the push at the scrum forced one against the head to leave the Eagles and fans just as stunned as we all were on a Tuesday evening somewhere up north towards the end of the earth

For me Tiger's massive 40-20 half way through second half was a 'game-turner' and you could see The Eagles energy drain through their boots as they trailed back to defend the scrum.

As for Owlerton the game of Rugby League and Sheffield Eagles deserve better than that. 'Going to the dogs' certainly applies to the game in Sheffield.

For those like me, who had to rely on MICKY's video-highlights (sadly no-longer available) it's great to see the highlights on Sheffield's website (under the 'TV' tab).

Great tries by the Cougars, especially that scored by Craven. Roll-on Rochdale but we mustn't relax as we need the points.

This was a great result. Seen the highlights.
Craven try was top drawer.
