Firstly ....I'm not getting involved in the argument over specific individuals involvement at the Cougars ...that is down those peoples and their opponents to sort out amongst themselves.. nuff said
BUT to make statements like that above is not right ...I'm sure that (and if I'm wrong then please tell me I'm wrong Helen) that I would hope that all volunteers at the Cougars from the raffle ticket sellers (Goosey ,Wendy et al ) , to Keith on the Car Park , through to our RFL reps are all valued equally ...regardless of finacial input
As far as involvement as far as 'the ordinary fan ' goes ...my thought has always been that the club owners / directors only in so far as their financial involvement goes ,pay's for a higher class of season ticket than the rest of ' the ordinary fans' , they are lucky enough to be in a better monetary position to contribute to that level than the rest of us ..and take advantage of the benefits that go with the position..
Most other 'ordinary ' fans contribute in so far as our personal situation allows (eg membership of the KC club , squadbuilder , player / match sponsorship allows).....plus the cost of traveling to watch the boys away...
Perhaps if anyone else but 'girlpower ' had posed the question certain contributors answers would have been different ...
But then would have been no fun would it
