I have today emailed the club asking if a meeting between fans and the new board can be arranged to get their take on things and most importantly their plans for the club.

Previous meetings with the club and fans went well in my view.

There is nothing the fans can do to change what has happenerd with the taxman/administration so lets try getting the new board to engage the fans better than cougars 2001 ltd did.

Fingers crossed we can only try.

What new board?

For all the talk and rumour, all we know at present is that a new company exists on companies house, and there will be at least one director on the board of that company.

Until the existing company is wound up and the new company is accepted by the RFL, all else is supposition.

AJ there is indeed a new board on cougars 2010 fact not supposition.

I know there is pete, I just said that.

But they are not the rugby club yet.

Me and jim could set up "keighley cougars 2034" with £10 of capital and make ourselves directors. It wouldn't mean anything until we took on the contracts of players and staff and were accepted by the rfl.

you mean i could be a director of a rugby club,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,where have i heard that before
