FROM THE CLUB.Keighley Cougars captain James 'Buster' Feather has sent out a message to all Cougar fans reassuring them that the players are not worried by the -9 points penalty that they have been handed following the club going in to administration in December. "We don't want the fans to worry as we the players are not worried. We just have to concentrate on doing our best out on the pitch. 9 points is three wins and I honestly think that Cougar Park will be a tougher ground to play at than people think."
Keighley born Feather explained; "Everyone is feeling a lot fitter than before and that is thanks to Paul Royston, we feel stronger and more explosive and all the lads are looking forward to the season starting."
'Buster' went on to say what he was looking forward to the upcoming season, "I'm especially looking forward to the big games such as this weekend away at Widnes, both the Halifax games and then the Sky game at home against Batley which should be good as there is always a good atmosphere down at Cougar Park."
"My personal goal for the season is to do everything I can to keep the club in the Championship and I ask the fans to come down to Cougar Park and support the team."
