Greetings to Cougar fans.

I will be travelling over from Leigh tomorrow, for the game. Incredibly, it's been five years since we were at Cougar Park.

I wonder if anyone could advise me please, on car parking? Do you have an official car park, or do we have to park in the streets across the road from the stadium? I think we once parked at the cricket club.

Hi Alan, There is 'official' parking behind the ground - On Royd Ings Ave. http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&sourc ... 13711&z=16 Drive towards the ground and parking is on the left. Have a great day.

Next to the ground, it costs a quid - bargain!

Travelling down to your place tomorrow and thinking of coming early to catch the United match. Any pubs around town that you think will be showing the match?

Yes. If you go to the Cavandish pub down Cavandish Street they should have it on there. Big screen.

Thanks again - although I can't agree with the bit about a Cougars' win! When you come to ours, there is lots of parking, next to the stadium and it's free - can't help thinking that the Sports Village owners have missed a trick there!

Last Orders pub on North Street will have it on, beer's cheap and there's big screens left, right and centre.
