Toulouse this Weekend : Mon Mar 15, 2010 7:31 pm
How many are going over and where is everyone staying.

Hope the players do like other teams and come out on the evenings and thank the fans for attending, does anyone know where the players are staying?

Me and my old man arriving Friday around 6pm ish and staying in same hotel.

There's a pub called The Melting Pot about 300 yards away from the hotel which would be good for meeting in.

Look out for the Leigh stuff on the walls :D

We stayed in the Ibis Central last year but mate's stayed at the one near the station and the rooms were three times the size, so we'll be going for the latter when we play there at Easter (and then at Limoux two weeks later! :ROCKS: )

From previous experience are there any decent attractions to look out for or are worth a visit?

Not many real attractions there, its just a generally nice place to walk around at a lesiurely pace and grab a beer or two whilst you are doing so.
Try and avoid the Irish pub (Melting Pot?), its a sh*thole - no cheaper than any of the other bars and the beer is revolting.
Oh, and on arrival at the airport try and use the the excellent tube system to get to your hotel as opposed to getting in a taxi. It'll save you at least £30.

Has the tube line to the airport opened yet?

I know there's shuttle busses (flybus) every 20 mins from Airport to Place Jeanne d'Arc near Ibis Centre that costs 5 Euros.

Just a nice place for wandering about, to be honest.

Didn't have a problem with ale, but I suppose the fact that it was rammed (and I mean, rammed) with Leythers probably disguised any shortcomings, along with the fact they put Gateshead vs Sheffield and Bradford vs Wire on the big screen :D

Didn't think the Metro had reached as far as the airport, but the shuttle bus sounds a bargain.
