The ref made an error at the end.
I think whilst, quite a big error, in getting the score wrong.
She checked her book, consulted her touch judges and quite correctly amended the result.
It takes bottle to admit you have made an error and correct it.
I am glad on this occassion we had a ref with such bottle.
All players and coaches and most of thoses watching knew the game was tied and this is why
both teams were kicking drop goal attempts.
An error was made and Saddleworth hoped to capitalise on this error and claim a victory they and
their players knew they never earnt. Not one had the integrity to correct the ref.
Worse than that they kicked off, and bahaved in a very intimidating way to a young female ref.
Shame on you. The Respect campaign is written for people who bahave in such a way.
Nice example being set to your young team.
And before people come on here and moan about the ref selection, it is the RFL who allocate a ref and
there is nothing the home team can do about that.
She did her best and after a brief moment of chaos the correct score was anouced.
I challange the Saddleworth adults who yelled at the Ref that his team had 32 points to back it up with a video
and show the RFL his 32 points being scored.
And if not then maybe explain why it is ok to make a ref feel so intimidated.
Without a Ref you have no game.
