Summer Rugby Camps for children between the ages of 7-15 : Fri May 07, 2010 4:50 pm
Following the great success of the three day Easter Rugby Camp, Keighley Cougars are happy to announce the dates of their Summer Rugby Camps.In the Easter holidays the Cougars held their first Easter Rugby Camp for children between the ages of 7-15. The children took part in a range of activities based around Rugby League as well as other activities such as the Fire Service showing the children a chip pan fire demonstration and how to deal with it. The children took on the Easter Camp staff which included first team players Jonny Presley, Chris Baines, Tom Hall and Brendon Rawlins in a football challenge every day.
Community Cougars Foundation Manager Dean Muir was thrilled with the success of the camp, "Originally our target was to have 20 children take part in the Easter Camp so we were over the moon to have 50 children each day. As the Easter Camp was so successful we have decided to hold two five day camps over the summer. The dates of the camps are 26th-30th July and 23rd-27th August."
