Does it matter? the fact is that they all came through our academy team to get to where they are now, whether it was because their original clubs wouldn't give them a chance or not is irrelevant, we coached them from their formative years in the professional game up to SL standard.

No, it doesnt matter,i was just wondering how many have been there from day 1. I understand that in a lot of clubs, no matter how good the player is, if his face dont fit they get outed,one way or another, just think of the talent thats been let go because of this.

Murphy and Blake are both from Leeds, played at Churwell all through amatuer days

I think the question is more like Which players in our first team spent time in Trinity's Academy

Brough, Snitch, Pitts, Bibb, Blaymire, Murphy, Ferguson and Davey with Southernwood almost there.

Wakefield fans can rightly be proud of Westwood and Ellis who were the Dreamteam backrowers last year and both are Trinity Academy products.

We can make a case for Blake, George, Atkins etc... but I would'nt class them as Trinity Academy Products although they have been developed by Wakefields coaching staff into genuine SL players.
