The new Graham Law?

hardly, i look at it this way, we put him on the wing he did his best and got better, and scored tries!

we play him anywhere he does the same and at stand off on friday he looked good, he can pass and he can run with the ball, if he stays, and i say if, id be happy, because every club needs a player who just wants to pull on a shirt, and from what ive seen this your scott has been a good club man, and id rather have him than some moody premadonna that only wants to play, where they want..when they want!

It's been mentioned on here recently. Like all rumours they will run and run until something official is released. Would be sad to lose Grix but if we're honest he isn't exactly first choice in any position.

He would have been a first choice at 6 long before Ronney was shown the exit door if we hadn't had so many injuries on the wing.

Would be sad to see him go, but can't blame him if he's been given assurances over playing in his preferred position.

JK take note!

What is his preferred position and where is he going to fit in at Huddersfield? :?

Really? Thought he had a belter last week, and has also played really well of late when getting his hands on the ball in the middle of the field. I agree about him not being first choice FB (High ball, Blaymire much superior this year), wing (defense and awareness), LF (size), centre (see wing) - but I think he has earned himself an extended run at 6 given his good work in the last few games.

At the moment too we look like we need a 6 too, so why not give him a shot? I reckon long term Kear might want to build him up for loose forward, give him a couple of years learning from Morro and you just might have a serious player on your hands.

I would like to keep him and see him get a good run at stand off as he should have been there for most of the season. I just can't imagine that Kear sees him at stand off which may give Hudds the advantage on his services.

see world cup
i think to be honest others are right, without rooney and the rose tinted way we have seen him after his performances in the world cup scott would have started season at stand off.

but of ocurse would have got hammered on here becuase he wasnt jamie r
and im not having a go at jamie in any way, just think he had too many chances to prove he was what he was never going to be after his injuries.

however....and to stop me getting hung, i wish him a big fat pay check somewhere else, and hell always be a player i look out for.

The Club has said its operating next year with a higher quality but smaller squad.

This means player will leave in higher numbers than coming in if this allows us to develop our youth players by giving them some firsy team action then under the franchise system this can only be a win.

There loads of speculation as to who is going and who is coming, IMHO more will be going but at the start of the year our team was written off by all as also rans now some of our players are being looked at by others I have no problem with this life goes on and we move on hopefully upwards in the future.

IMHO this is spot on by the club.....otherwise what is the point in developing players like Cain etc and the rest of our under 18's if they never get the oppurtunity to play???

l ilike Grix, he offers a lot in differant positions, but he is not a 'great' player and can be replaced, hopefully by players with more potential!!
