Trinity & Matt Ellis a Learning the hard way, the council simply are very poor on the planning process, they are unable to be inside the 3 months delivery process, they never deliver in or on time & blame applicants.
They cannot deliver their own large projects & proof now is that they are entering a partnership with private sector to deliver the cities large projects, that is to be commended but that leaves other applicants trying to deliver projects they have not got the ability to grant !!
That leaves trinity in/with a massive problem !
Of course the council will deny & point to all the reasons why but not them !

The whole planning system is not fit for purpose, it's not just WMDC. The planning departments are under resourced, , the HBF comiisioned a report which revealed 80% are running under capacity. The West Stand roof as had only had one consultee response, n surprise it's missed its determination date.

A lot of bile for being slow when it is almost certain over the last fourteen years the staffing levels have been butchered at the altar of reduced funding.

Agreed job losses at delivery level but retaining and increasing the level of Senior staff controlling the Council

All industries have job losses the trouble is that they get shut of the wrong people and leave incompetent people in charge

If there is something specific to do with our planning permission then of course let's discuss it but this isn't the right place to have a dig at the council.
