I don't see us beating Celtic by alot. Look at their two results at home, they've played Hull and Saints who between them have only lost one (and that was by a point). It should be a really good game and one that i'm looking forward to watching

It should be, you're right we probably won't score masses of points, but if we can dominate them in the first twenty like we did against Wire you never know.

I'm sure Kear will be very wary of Celtic's threat and will prep the lads well, so I'm not too concerned about being their first SL scalp.

The form book suggests that we will find it hard to score points against Celtic Crusaders.

Sts went there two weeks ago and l only scored four points and they came late in the second half. I know they've had Thrashing against Hull Kingston Rovers since then but whilst I'm sure Rovers played very well the St Helen's game probably to a lot out of Celtic.

I wouldn't take victory and granted in this game, this has all the hallmarks of a banana skin and we need to be very professional about our performance if we are to get the points.

I`ll settle for any win from this game, and no more injuries please. the fact that Ganson is in charge is likely to make this a stop/start game, which I think will favour Celtic rather than us. According to the OPTA stats they obviously like to keep the ball alive, as they have 3 out of the top ten players for offloads, with 22 between them. I`ve no doubt JK will have noticed this and the boys will have prepared accordingly. That said they only average scoring 12 points per game, while conceding 27, so that suggests that some of the offloads are born out of desperation. Hopefully Danny Brough will have his kicking boots and keep turning their forwards round aand we can defend in their 20 rather than ours. Optimistically confident of a narrow victory.

Is there any chance that Grix or Obst could play, due to return 1-2 weeks from the 13th, it will be 9 days come Sunday so a possibility?

Hope im wrong! If we play with as much effort and committment as we have i'll still be happy, can't ask for anymore than what the guys are doing!

I'd agree with that too. With Bibey out as well now, probably little by way of away support to lift the team, and Celtic improving, this may be a bridge too far. We'll need another really massive effort to get anything out of this game, I fear.

i know it sounds a daft thing to say with it being against celtic who haven't won a game! but i think if we win it will show to us all that were a different side this season these are the games we usually lose, dont know if it makes sense but im sure you all know what i mean!!!! hopefully!!!!!
