French should be pensioned-off, but not at our expense and Davis is a so-called 'expert' on everything rugby!

French can always be relied upon to raise a smile. Today he said that the place was full of Catalan's "green and gold" flags before correcting himself and saying "yellow and gold"

tbf i think kear carried the whole commentary team and truly think that this guy will never be out of work.
all of his calls are correct and in tune with the game.

Totally agree with you there, Muts. His knowledge of and enthusiasm for the game always shine through. He explains the important passages of play in the game in a way that really adds to your enjoyment. The kind of commentator who could keep you watching if Saints were playing London Scholars and winning 100-0 at half time. Quality job, Mr. Kear!

I just hope his current day job means he has other, more pressing commitments on cup final day.
