Great Win : Fri Apr 10, 2009 8:41 pm
Well done lads. Win against an in form team at their place and putting them to the sword in the second half. Didnt hear much of the game at all though.
Onward and upwards .

couldn't get any coverage here in York on radio so had to rely on updates on sky, massive win for us against a Cas team who were playing well recently,
a big slap on the back to the lads from all of us in York :D

"In fairness the Wildcats spluttered sporadically. When they were good they were very, very good and when they weren’t - they gave away penalties."

What a great way to start the Easter programme, not only a win but an emphatic win.

Hopefully, we will have a clean bill of health for the Bulls on Monday. Bulls suffered injuries to Lynch and Nero, plus they had a truly mammoth effort to put in against the Rhino's. Menzies and Newton had to play a full 80 minutes so they will have tired bodies on Monday.

Bulls win will also mean that more of their fans come to BV, so should easily be the biggest crowd of the season :thumb:

Menzies looks awesome he's the one to watch, Halley had a good game but looks lightweight when retrieving the ball,
like you say energy levels will be drained with the bulls,

good times at Belle Vue at last :D

Fantastic win! And I must say well done to whoever does the updates on the Wakey site - gutted I couldn't be there but I had a pretty good sense of what happened thanks to their frequent updates - you can check it out now on the site if you missed it.

And well done to the team tonight, what a fantastic achievement to win tonight, and an emphatic win at that!
