Young, Wakefield second rower : Mon Apr 27, 2009 3:39 pm
Who is the big, second rower in your reserves?

He looked like a Kiwi/Somoan/Tongan. Although he played at second row, his style reminded me of Israel Falou. Either way, he stood out head and shoulders above the rest of the team (apart from Latu).

Oh, I knew you'd signed him but didn't realize it was him on Saturday.

Seemed an absolute top player. Very skillful, aggressive and had that class about him.

He and Latu were your best players on Saturday despite the scoreline.

the score line was poor due to the players we have in the reserves.

The players who have been there a few years now are just not good enough. I cant blame Roy Sampson, he gets the best out of what he is given, these players have been there way before the current and previous coach Wrighty.

I would not have thought most of them are old enough to have been there years. To be fair our Academy set up has always been the victim of lack of investment Jt was always beg , stealing and borrowing players

Sorry I meant more along the lines of the expense of which first team player to get him to prove himself in SL, to be fair we need to remember that Wigan won the league last year we cant mark it on one game

I agree totally, but remove the first teamers, and the skill levels of the players are shambolic, and have been for years.
