fans reacted well today to cookie and also the players i think, cookie walking in on his own at the end to the applause. thought his kicking was pretty good but needs to improve his fitness levels (game time will do that). welcome cookie !

Was slightly underwhelmed by his quote when signing for us - something along the lines of it was a case of playing rugby league or not playing rugby league, but if his on-field performances are good, thats the main thing

Rather that than clichés about "here to win silverware" "club on the up" etc. (the latter he stated today on Radio Leeds though ). He's a pro RL player and we've given him a chance to reassert himself under a coach who gets good results. If we let him play RL, we can hope he'll do it well.

Rather him be honest than the often-said, "Always loved this club....a dream to wear the red, white and blue" rubbish many come out with.

spoke to a couple of the players they were very mpositive about cooke . they said he was talking all the time he was on. very experienced very professional

That point is factual though - and was part of the negotiations.

He is very keen to get stuck in with us!

Very hard for him to say anything else really, he has just left the club he always dreamed of playing for.
I've just joined the club that I used to dream about after I'd dreamt about Rovers !!

i think he played well yesterday, a bit rusty but im sure he will get used to the Wakey ways soon

I bit early to Judge for his first game, lets see him sweat blood in training, and follow that on the pitch, he as got what it takes.
Its upto Cook to get his hunger for the game back, come on Paul you can do it mate...
