Sat in the garden in sunny Colchester listening to the game & beginning to worry. Seemed like a stroll in the first half but in typical Trinity fashion have had us on the edge!
2 points would have been important in previous years but in the "era of franchises" do the points matter? That said a win is a win & I wish I could have enjoyed it live!
Well done to the team, a little wobble in the middle but apart from that we were very good. Where did all the attacking flair come from? It could have been more as well because we bombed a couple of try's.
Looks like we could be a team that goes well on the harder ground this year. Wins away at Catalans and today seem to suggest this.
Seven penalties conceded at the start of the second swayed the momentum of the match. Credit to Quins as the tries needed scoring but they weren't half given a helping hand.
As it happens the disgraceful high shot stopped their momentum and the ref's lack of action fired up the players and the crowd and they responded superbly.
