Read the letter from Natural England, it made me laugh!! It basically says they have found no evidence of otters (a protected species) but there could be because there is features such as a river or lake on the site... Do these people get paid for this 'advice'?? I could have told them there is a river on the site which COULD contain anything save them the bother of 'investigating' any further... Box (iv) – We looked at the survey report and determined that Yes, it did highlight that there are suitable features on the application site for otters such as rivers, lakes etc. This took us to Box (vi). I suppose in the end this is good news?? |
