I'm sorry if this has been done already,but the 19s are playing the same afternoon as the 1st team so my good lady and myself would like to attend but we are having problems finding suitable flights.We can only travel on the Friday evening due to her work.As anybody had any joy with this.If not,it looks like I'm going on my own

We're flying to Carcassonne Friday afternoon 12:40pm I think there is also a later flight in to their from Manchester

How do you get from carcassonne to Perpignan or canet,Transfers seem a bit steep. Cheers

We got bus from airport to train station for 5 euro and train from carcassone to Perpignan think it was 20 odd euro

I've hired a car for €56 so for 4 of us it works out quite cheap, with fuel and tolls will be approx €80 having been 4 times before and driven all the way/flown to Barcelona and also Montpellier I'm pretty familiar with the area

It's a doddle. As Deeencee has said there is a bus from Carcassonne Airport that will be waiting for the flight across from the terminal which takes you to Carcassonne railway station. Then the train from Carcassonne to Perpignan via Narbonne.

You can walk into Perpignan from the station or if you are going to Canet the bus picks up at the station.

Then the reverse back to Carcassonne Airport.

Each to your own. Some prefer Perpignan some Canet. I've stayed in both and prefer Perpignan and you can get the bus from Perpignan to Canet if you want a trip to the coast.

Canet beach is beautiful,well worth a visit if you've got time.Hope they've stocked the beach bar up after our last visit.
