I dont know if these guys were on the but greg bird was his skills were phenomonal looked so at ease with everything he did. Was wanting the ball everytime and could see the options would actually pay to see him vs another team when he's fit hes gonna be awesome
I dont know which game you were watching or if you knew which player greg bird was no 26 But boy his class stands out so much he does the little thing right.
One thing i noticed straight away, was the way he held his hands while off the ball not on his side but arms out fingers ready to control the ball if it came to him he was always ready, excellent passes made a few half breaks when he went into the tackle he always somehow managed to get his arms free, to offload if he wanted too.
He didnt get as much of the ball as he liked, and was quite tired also but his class is there, wish we had him.
Yeah the little fat bloke with the gut, i did see him rolling around on the floor for a while, does that count

Bird seemed to run harder than anyone on the pitch, some great offloads too! Thought he showed touches of class, and for his first game in Britain, went well.
