Looking forward to Cas, as I don't think we've beaten anyone decent yet. We beat a very poor Wigan side, and beat Warrington when they were just about at their lowest. Catalan weren't great when they come to us, and Salford were just what they are, a newly-promoted side.
This isn't meant to take anything away from the wins. On each occasion we were better than the team that faced us, and there were good reasons for the losses (Leeds away was just Leeds away, we had no players for HKR, and nothing need be said about Friday), but I want to see us beat a side that is up for the win to prove that we are contenders, and Cas look a tasty side this year.
Not meant as a gripe, as it is not our fault that other sides are struggling, but a win against Cas would put aside my concerns that reality will kick in when we met the form sides. Should be a good game.
you will be playing a good team on friday night :lol
What's with the did I miss someone? Yeah the team that relegated you twice, signed your best player and did you 3 out of 4 last season. EDITWhy you feel you need to talk like that i don't know but's it's not needed.
Bigal1.
I hope this one doesn't turn up on Good Friday then.

beg to differ, I think we made them look poor IMHO

I bit of reverse philology there neil
That may well be the case, as we didn't let them into the game, but I want to see us with a proper team on the park against a side that is playing well (Cas, Hudds, Hull, Quins, etc), and then I will be more comfortable at the thought that we are play-off contenders as opposed to good starters against teams who are slow starters.

this next month is a the test cas, bradford, hull, and wigan again,
I know as a coach you shouldn't pick and choose the game to win, but from the ones that I have selected at the start of the season, so far the points that we have is what I expected, I had two games go the wrong way tho and of course the celtic game would of taken it two above had we played and won,
so I pleased so far with the position we are in, easter is a busy time and takes it toll, we need to win 3 out of the 4 listed to keep on track, but I have a predicted 30 pts to get us in the play offs which is tough but should guarantee us an 8th place spot.
quite a few cas fans are getting giddy and quite so they should, if clubs like bradford think its all over with 15 mins to go, and leave the back door open it gives them a chance, very similar result to kr game we won last year
Certainly good prospects of three out of the 4. At that point, I will believe. I think both Hull sides and Hudds will do well this year, and I expect Wire and Wigan will pull themselves together. Cas, like us, will hit a bad patch at some point, although I think Bulls might struggle all year.
