Don't remember him playing at wakey at all, supposedly 77 ish, but he did not play prop until he moved to Manly in 85 - according to the never wrong Wikipedia!!

he played just a few games in the centre...

we had Gerard and Paul O'Brien two top aussie centres so would have been around 76ish I remember him particularly i a game at headigley on boxing day... one of the few xmas games we won. i think he scored that day.

then he came back to the UK with the 78 aussie tourists and later came back to play with Hull


younger brother Graham played with us also in the 80's

Whilst I can't remember any particular games or events that Gerard played in I do remember him leaving quite a positive impression - I think he was a bit like James Stosic in playing style.
