just shows what I have always said give the young players more game time we are now seeing the results hope to see a few more getting a chance as the season goes on

As mch as I agree with you contracts don't mean a thing nowadays and it seems theres only Wigan willing to pay transfer fees. Ifwe can keep this set of youngsters together we could have something special starting to develop. Cap it off with a new ground and top players will be queueing up to come to th Wildcats.

Murphy is a class act and really is a centre or fullback. He has very good defensive qualities which really helps Atkins. Atkins is not the best under the high ball but with Murphy alongside him that wing partnership now looks rock solid.

Thought a;ll 17 were great las t night but young Murph was quality.

Runs it in hard and makes good yards for a young lad. Come on great guns from last year....keep it up Murph

Not a chance, tha's it for now. I wish it could be as you suggest but in the real world it isn't. Trinity can only afford a few punts a season and they concentrate on junior academy, we expect one to make it every few years. Due to the unforseen rapid promotion of certain players the well is now dry. There is only Southernwood who may get a pop this year. I can't see a single Adademy player being promoted this term. It's cyclical like that and we have been lucky recently.

What we can do is raid other academies, something I think we have every right to do as in the case of Leeds and Bradford many are Wakey lads pinched from us anyway.
