In theory the limited company cannot move forward on any radical changes (which one assumes that these are and they have been planning for ) without the consent of the shareholders ie by a vote.

From what little scraps of information that I've been able to pick up I thought the implications were that the new stadium was going to be built under the auspices of the Community Trust rather than the club per se.

If the club are only going to be tenants of the stadium then would a shareholders vote be needed?

This is the road i thought we are/were going down but end of the day couldn't care less what road where going down along as there's a new shiny little Stadium at the end of it Keepmoat one will do just nicely

The club already have a mandate from us, the shareholders, to do whatever is necessary to move us forward - including selling the ground if / when needed. This was at the last AGM I think.
