I'd be tempted to give Grix a chance in this game, he only had one bad game against Saints and can cover more than one position!

Grix was avarage against Leigh aswell.........agree though that he deserves another chance because of his versatility. But most others are performing well at present, so who do you drop/rest?

Drew can not do 80mins, or at least you will not get the best out of him if he does! Latu really speeded up the play for us on Monday.......and against a tried and injury hit Hull team this could be key!!!

I agree, Drew is better when we can spell him...and Latu does change the game when he comes on.
But like you said, this is an injury hit and tired Hull team...Grix should be fresh and raring to get on the pitch.
This could be a good game for him to come back and try and get some form back...he can always slot in at hooker for Drew when he comes on.
p.s. Isn't it great that we finally have a squad where we can have these types of discussions!

I'm a big fan of Grix and in the past have said he should be a starter wherever they play him because he's very good at reading the game and coming into the line, but he had two poor games against Saints and Leigh at stand off and we can't afford someone not to be on top of their game in that position, his problem now is that all the backs, and particularly the wingers are playing their socks off and under the current philosyphy of letting the players that are doing the business keep the shirts I can see it being a fair while before he gets another chance barring injuries.

Hull squad does in fact have Richard Horne in it
Hall, Calderwood, G. Horne, Yeaman, Washbrook, Thorman, Dowes, Lee, Thackray, Manu, Tickle, Radford, Berrigan, Burnett, Maloney, Moa, Houghton, Whiting, R. Horne.
