Yes but as a SL club drawing one of the biggest NAMES in rugby league, for a cc round we should be getting more and no doubt the trolls from nearby wil tell us we should be getting more, which imo we should.

Its a real shame, every man and his dog you talk to in the pubs and clubs of this fine city are Trinity fans apparently. If they did a servey of the locals the new stadium would have to hold 300 000.

A great team and a great club deserve much better.

Ironically if we get to the semi we will have folk on here whingeing that we should have been given a bigger ticket allocation.

Fact is we have been flying this season so far. I think the home support especially against Bulls and Wigan (even taking into account the turnstiles being economical with the truth) has been pathetic.

Lets face it another 2k every home game would make a BIG difference, but how do we do it?

Drop entry price, it's almost £20 to watch a team that looses more than it wins in a crap stadium!! it's a lot of money to a lot of people. It probably won't make any more money for the club, but charge £15 and the gates will increase and give better figures for the club and a better atmosphere.
If were gonna need 10k per game in the future, start now, look at Huddersfield, they are being bankrolled somewhat I know, but they could well be the next club to seariously push the top two, increased attendances bring more benefits than ticket money alone.

But you are right it’s being pathetic and if it continues it may cost us our place in SL come 2012

For me it’s down to poor marketing and high prices on the gate and the lack of any real incentive to buy season tickets

£3 off match day prices may work but i've always felt the missing fans spend more than that in the pubs and clubs on match days. It may help attract more famillies if we reduced the price and thats the area we need to target IMO.

Cost of stewarding would rise with higher figures so that would need to be offset, no easy answer i'm afraid.

If you reduce the gate price you have to offer better value for season ticket holders?

The Challenge Cuo early rounds like the FA Cup are dying on their arses attendance wise. Even with the good offer the Club have put on for this the lazy, apathetic Wakefield public wont get off their lard arses to support their Club. Very sad really.

Hopefully if we get a new stadium this will change but i have my doubts as Wakey is no longer a Rugby League City.
