Yes, it is what I said!

It is a little misleading that extract, because the seating areas and changing rooms for the stadium are not considered appropriate but changing rooms and small seating areas for MUGA developments are appropriate if proportionate (you need changing rooms close to a sports field/sports hall). So the Stadium is not and the car park is not, the field it surrounds is, the college/sports hall/changing room building was promoted as being appropriate, as was the covered all-weather pitch.

I have since asked the question of the strategic planning team in Wakefield MDC and they confirmed that the sites at Knottingley and Ferrybridge do not contribute to the 95 ha. They are anticipating the adoption of Newmarket and then any other B8 applications will be considered and used if planning is granted OR if new sites become available, they will identify them as development opportunities that will contribute to the remainder. Even if you don't believe me, it still does not get around the fact that the Knottingley and Ferrybridge sites are current in UDP green-belt as well does it though!!!
