I guess its fall out from the Bates sacking. Leeds Utd probably made it viable.

I always thought there is a gap for a well produced specific RL radio station which can discuss the issues we read about everyday plus have match commentary on weekends. A kind of talkSPORT for RL. I know I'd listen to it in the car.

100% agree, it was great having different players co commentating (rather than the same old ones), commentators, talk shows and build up compared to what the BBC are able to offer. Its a real shame it's gone. Here is a chance though for someone like REAL Radio to step in

Bradford city have just turned down radios Leeds offer to cover them. Wonder if their looking to buy Yorkshire radio and cover this and others matches plus earn more revenue through sponsorship and advertising ?

Yes, it was good fo Trinity, we seemed to get vey good coverage from it...but as an LUFC fan too, Bates' baby and him and his projects can all go and swing for me

As an overseas listener, disappointed it's gone. I hope there'll be a decent local alternative to radio Loiner.
