If you can not see an increase in team and individual performances you must be blind. In the space of 2 weeks we have gone from a limp bunch of players , to a team who are working together and showing some spirit. The pack did great today and for much of the game were on top. Im still disappointed in Tim Smith he must take the line on .

I can recall many occasions when Tim Smith was taking the line on, he was also looking for options but forced to take the line on because they were none. I thought he and Godinet were our best players on the park, I was also impressed by some of the forwards - Scruton and Kirke in particular. Its the outside backs that are the let down though.

Too many poor options from Riley, Lyne and Johnstone. Lost the chance to nick it though when McShane farted about at half back too long then put in a panic aimless kick.

Im not one for bagging players but Smith only took the line on twice with a direct run. I just wish he would run with the ball more. Individually a much better all round performance from all, the next stage will be to improve team work . Well pleased with the display and the guts shown by the pack. When a team fronts it up like the pack did today it shows well for the future. When was the last time the pack showed some fire and stood up for each other when the going got tough

Agree with everything except the Riley comment. Thought he was much better today and had a decent game.

I'm a fan of Tim Smiths, but he has got to present more of a threat himself rather than just distributing the ball. Too much shovelling just lately from him.
However, given good options such as the Godinet try shows he can still deliver if he can get his head in gear and we give him plenty of attacking runners

I think yesterday shows we are physically weak in the backs. How many times were we handed off so catalans could go an extra 30/40 meters? Big off season no matter what league we are in regarding strength training

Agree we lose Collis and I thought a SL quality centre would be at the top of the list for his immediate replacement with the contacts that BS has got but it hasn't materialised. Inu looked a real threat to say it's his first game of SL for a long time and Pomeroy made metres for fun...BS hopefully will look at this.

I can see where you're coming from, but, I thought a lot of time TS was probing the line hoping to lay the ball off to someone coming through at pace which didn't happen much.

I would imagine a SL quality centre would be at the top of his list of his replacements, but even with all his supposed contacts, hasn't it occurred to you that there might not be anyone available to us for whatever reasons at this moment in time, just as a matter of interest which centres' would you recommend to Mr Smith to come in and do a better job assuming of course they are available and can be persuaded to come here.
