Surely it sits with the club to make sure every tweet/post is worth liking/clicking? Some of the drivel they've put on there for the sake it over the years really makes you think what the strategy is.



Posting live updates on a women's game, a side getting beat very convincingly week in week out for fans who (mainly) follow to receive updates on the men's side, that were also performing very poorly on field just seems like a double negative to me?

I'm sure if you contact the club they'll tailor their social media output to suit your tastes

I actually agree with him. I'll interact with posts I find interesting, not to try and get our IMG score up. I won't coming home from work to sit clicking on links to increase interactions. I'm a rugby fan, if I was a fan of spreadsheets I'd stay at work and get paid for it.

Good for you, that's your perogative. The club, however, needs to engage with all of its followers, some of whom will be interested in more than just first team news. This is especially true if they are keen to expand their business model and appeal to a wider audience...for instance I'd be keen to see a tie-in with Wakefield AFC who are pulling in over 500 fans per game they're playing at BV.

Wakefield AFC are doing pretty well on the pitch so the crowds may well improve further. Top of their League with only one club below with sufficient games in hand to overhaul them at present.

One thing JM said was that the football crowd spends more per personal the food and drink outlets than the rugby crowd. So an increased crowd will benefit us.

They have seats in the centre of the stand for the hospitality guests, the seats are referred as Club lounge seating, or so I understand

I don't think you should be taking the blurb that literally.

Block D seating is for the hospitality season tickets (the ones at £780) on the padded seating for the game

Which one of us is the small town in Wakefield?



The only consolation is its such a big leap to the next level it probably doesn't get them more points for followers yet, but if they have the equivalent difference in engagements, they have at least 0.2 more than us.

It makes you wonder which is the small town doesn’t it.

Fact is that the vast majority of Wakefield’s population don’t give a monkeys about trinity - unlike Cas where a large percentage of the town seem to live, breath and sleep it!

Other than some good success on the field I don’t know how you’ll get people interested!

Maybe potentially better times ahead may do it?

Lets be real, the dross we had to suffer over the last few seasons was massive interest killer. Things are starting to improve rapidly now Matt owns the club. I expect those numbers to grow as next season develops and i am sure many people will have their Trinity interest revitalised

Glad some of you no how to do twitter, and all the other tec, things Me I have not got a clue . It is bad when S L could be decided by technology .I am not a thick sod, got a good stranded of living ,was able to retire at 61.But all this talk is way over my head . The only technology i no is Clash of Clans ,keeps my brain in order will stick with that and supporting the club i love,

You have also got to factor in that most people in Wakefield work, most people in Cas as well as not having teeth never have, never will and have zero intention of doing a days work, 98% of all adults in Cas have a mobility scooter and a heroin addiction. The amount of benefits claimed in Cas allows all the population to afford mobile phones and other devices and when not smoking, drinking Special Brew in the street, applying to appear on the Jeremy Kyle show they follow the Tigers on social media as the one thing they do have is time on their hands. In conclusion the figures quoted by Pop Tart should not be a surprise to anyone.
