100% agree, was good on Boxing Day until the head knock which seemed to put him out of sorts and against Wigan his distribution was excellent.

I don’t think I’ve been as excited by a squads potential since 2004 and Big Dave Solomona came striding through the door!

Strong squad is that.

With no Myler or Dagger, York do look a bit weaker, but wouldnt under estimate them, so a strong line up needed, I feel.

Following this game, I'd look to rest a few, for Siddall and Newcastle, without disrespecting the opposition too much.

Maybe an opportinity for some that haven't featured much, or at all in the friendlies.

I on the other hand wouldn’t rest anyone for this, I’d look to put a marker down and serve notice against one of the teams that will represent a strong challenge throughout the season.

Yes the above squad is good. However I have no problem with Croft, but I think Ollie Pratt has shown some great form and he has improved massively. He would be my choice at centre

Not for me.
Out of the three games, this will be the hardest, so for me it has to be the best 17 available from the named squad.

I thought this would be a tough opening game but looking at their squad I can't see anything other than a comfortable Wakefield win. I'd still go as strong as possible and then look to rotate for the following three games in prep for Bradford.
