Excellent marketing strategy from the club. Announce Grix to lower expectations, then swoop in with the signing of Williams.

Some really good signings coming out of Wakefield for 2017, so far.

Williams is top signing, and Caton-Brown has a great try-scoring record. Hirst won't let anyone down and will be fighting for an extension from the off.

The only iffy one is Grix. I always associated him with one of the main reasons why Huddersfield were always the nearly men. He has calamity written all over his bemused face. Hopefully it won't scupper Jowitt's development too much.


Can add to the new signings the contract extension of Tom Johnstone, plus a few others

And John Kear on board next year can't be a bad thing. Looking bright for 2017.

Well that article plus another one somewhere else I read has had plenty of people believing in rubbish for the last 2 years then MC. Martyn Sadler maybe wants to check his sources better in future then, especially when he's announcing to the RL world, the supposed in's and out's of the Sky deal a couple of years ago..

I said on the previous page I had no reason to doubt him when he originally told me, but I was interested to know where everyone else is getting this Sky pay nearly the full cap stuff from that keeps getting repeated and that appears to be the source.
