I wish I had all the answers - I don't.

We have NO long term liabilities and there is funding still to be drawn from the sale of the ground - when that happens, who knows?

We have had a very poor season in terms of actual vs anticipated attendences and therefore revenue.

We will come through this. The major players - the developer and the RFL - were aware of this situation long before we were and, as PB suggests, we are far from the only ones with difficulties - just the only ones in the media!

Lets hope JK and the playing staff have been kept fully informed. Assuming they have, then I cling to the fact that Millard Tronc etc.. having still signed means they must have been satisifed with the clubs ability to sort this out and be able to pay their contracts going forward.

It is still not clear how the bill was amassed. If it is a "one-off" hit which includes money due over a number of years, then should we pay this off, hopefully we can move on. The concern has got to be if the debt relates to a relatively short period and indicates an inabilitiy to pay our yearly costs.

I await with interest details of the other 5 clubs who have had similar problems.

Not good at all. We need a takeover of this club . Once again there is no reason for us to be in trouble unless someone is taking rather than giving. OR they are terrible with maths. Bad news with the new ground assesment coming up . Typical Wakey cock up !

isn't due to the fact that if you want to keep competitive you have to spend and then hope the crowds and sponsorship follow?

the worst thing the rfl did was scrap the 50% of your income could go on players salarys.

Projected attendances down by 1500? Image rights coming back to bite all clubs who’ve utilised this loophole on the back side?

By the sounds of it the club are not alone on this issue and it does appear a lot of people making comments have an axe to grind with the current incumbents of the board.

As for a takeover, there doesn’t exactly seem to be a queue of suitors that are willing to throw their money down the financial drain.

Don't forget NGB4C is a very wealthy man/woman/boy/whatever.

It earns over £40K per annum and moans all the time about the clubs lack of finances.

Personally I'm still waiting for to see any action behind the words that get posted.

This is your field.

We have agreed the sale of Belle Vue and were given a part payment as a deposit. This was used to clear off all our financial liabilities and the full facts were published in the accounts.

The balance for the ground will then be paid when we leave Belle Vue.

Well if thats the case all he has to do is to buy shares to the total of 5% of the clubs share capital and he can then gain a seat on the board by right. Lets see what action he takes.
