On the other Cas forum there is talk of the inquiry being hijacked by protesters, they also mention Mike Harding the folk singer visiting Newmarket to inspect the site.He is performing in Wakefield and apparenly has something to do with the ramblers association.Anybody else heard anything about this?

Just shows how sad and pathetic the losers are. Thing is with that inbred lot I think it's more the majority than the minority as well. What this really shows is they realise the truth and that we have a greater chance of getting the build and they are being led down many a garden path by tricky dicky, this un turn is making them very nervous and they are now more intent on seeing us fail than seeing themselves succeed.

Its the mostly the same bunch who post on the Cas forum, some are obvious and others harder to spot.

And its seems they are a touch worried, well the ones who can figure out that all is not well with RW and the boys down the lane.

Of course one of them is putting on a brave face on both forums but you can see its slowly sinking in :)

And we all very much hope that to be correct, but just saying it on here won't make it happen and I hope that no-one takes this process for granted.

We have opponents - that is a fact - and they have a voice and are organised, so whilst we can all dream of sitting in our seats in a couple of years time, please also make a note in the diary to be available to join us on the doorstep of the Town Hall on Dec 6th.

More details will follow as we near the date, but we intend to be there in numbers to make an unequivocal message for the inspector to take back to Mr Pickles!

Thanks! 8)

Is this purely a SWAG thing, or will the club be adding players/coaches/CEOs and owners to the list?

Mike Harding is in Wakefield on the 19th November. I think perhaps people are making links that aren't there.

That's the one thing I haven't got is why the cas fans are desperate for us not to get a new stadium. I'll never forget the reaction on the independent ginner forum when the community stadium got called in last december they loved it, must be the small town mentality. Anyway thought everything was moving on fine with GH and opus were the saviours getting the best price ever for wheldon road and it was all sorted just a case of dotting the I's and crossing the t's so why do they feel so insecure about our city & district community stadium
