This world was never meant for one as beautiful as me. WTRLC 2012 to 2014 "The wasted years" Magic Weekend "Whipping Boys" 2013, 2014 & 2015 2017 - The year the dream disappeared under Grix's right foot. 2018 - The FinniChezz Bromance 2019 - The return of the Prodigal Son. 2020 - Keeping the faith.

For me. I say I'm a supporter, so I'm supporting the club as best I can. Right now the coaches, players and management are having serious trouble navigating this season. So are some other clubs. So are many people around the country. In just the same way that we talk about trying to help local businesses when it would be easier to get a delivery, I see it that this is the time to support the club and all parts of it. Calling for heads and criticising players when they have so much more on their plate is just not supporting the club in my view. It's adding to the stress. The objective of the season is to get through in tact. Nothing else. If we lose every game and come bottom but still survive financially then its a win for me. My enjoyment comes from seeing players turn out for Wakefield under severe pressure and do their best. Sometimes their best isn't good enough to win. Sometimes we get a beating. It's just the way it is this season. There is no doubt in my mind that if Brough wasn't injured/or too old we'd be doing better. But he isn't and it isn't going to be changed this season through no one's fault. Same applies to Fifita. I'll enjoy watching the games. I'll be disappointed if we don't win but I'll understand why not and move on to the next game.
I'm right beside you on all counts there PT. Excellent post.

He didn't, and has also been one of our very few players that has shown any quality this season.
That's a very subjective way to choose a player, especially using the word quality.
Wouldn't be able to think of many quality moments since lockdown. Tom Johnstone, Westerman and Tanginoa have produced the odd glimpse.

Kind of my point when I said any quality, glimpses really! We have looked pretty useless as a collective.

But there is a difference between supporting the club and just completely ignoring the warning signs of failure that is coming our way if we continue the way that we are.... Can you not support a club whilst not supporting the leadership/direction of the club?
For instance if it was public knowledge the mess Glover was making of our club during his tenure would you continue to just support blindly and regardless of the obvious outcomes? Or would you potentially raise your concerns and not follow like a flock of sheep as Mopsey would put it.

UNBELIEVABLE!!!!
I thought that it was Nero that fiddled whilst Rome burned. Seems that you and PT were sat there with him, Wollo.

Kinda proves the point. This story was just made up because people didn't like Nero.
Sounds like the same happened with Chester and the story in the Star.
But yes should be proud of yourself. You have such a great insight into the club and the problems we have.
