The lad dropped a big one and he'll know it and be hurting. That's sport. I've captained teams and dropped howlers that may have cost us games, you just want a hole to appear and swallow you up. It's how he reacts to it that counts. We''ll see next Sunday.

I've been resisting the urge to post but can't now it has gone on so long.

Morton made a mistake. However he did at least as many significantly good things in the game as bad things.

Let it go. The game wasn't his fault.

There were plenty of incidents throughout the game that would have made more of a difference to the result of the game had they been spotted, or chances taken, but you have chosen a small incident because it was the last incident.

Too many fans are small minded and don't actually understand the game enough to be able to differentiate between these things.

Seriously this wasnt a mistake it was a sin and a disgrace!!! I dont even think kevin penny would have done that !

 ...non sheep!

I wonder if the players were giving him a real hard time for the blunder at the start so he thought 'sod you all?'

I still can't make sense of it and it's driving me around the bend. :WALL:

Morton isn't the first to get the blame for a defeat and he won't be the last. Its part and parcel of the game and he'll get over it.

Surely Mr Rugby League the game was ruined by our inability to stop Castleford going the length of the field for Chase to score, after the Mathers break from a nothing grubber, to put them within two points or maybe when the penalty (which levelled the game) was given away after Amor failed to hold the ball correctly.

As for you asking whether Morton is 'simple or something' I have to agree that clearly up there with the greatest quotes of all time not just on here. If you had a proper thought go through your head it would be the fastest trip in history.

I thought I saw your name on a loaf of bread this morning but then I realised it said 'THICK CUT'
