I'd never heard of The Sportsman doing live games until RWB mentioned it above, but having just watched the first half, I have to say that the coverage is excellent and the game is very entertaining too with some excellent rugby on display from both sides

I didn't know about it either, it says on the link that they intend to show 20 live RL games this season.

STADIUM REDEVELOPMENT UPDATE17TH JANUARY 2022

STATEMENT FROM THE CHAIRMAN

Keeping our followers right up to date, I am delighted to announce that the Planning Applications in respect of the Be Well Support Stadium and Plot 8 at Newmarket have not been called in by the Secretary of State.

This is another important step on our redevelopment journey. We can now move to engross the S106 agreement after which our planning permission will be formally issued.

Many thanks once again to all those who have helped through this phase – we remain firmly on track!

Good news, another step along the way, now let's hope Mackie signs the 106 and puts the money in the bank. Fingers crossed.

People keep saying that but I’m not sure it’s that simple. Who’s bank account? I’ve no idea as to the mechanism. Who’s running it, the club, the trust the Council? I don’t know at the moment how this bit actually works.

Im not having a go, I just don’t know. It would be nice if it was just a case of the club purring out a press release saying the cheque has cleared but it surely can’t be that simple, can it? :?

I thought that the funds were supposed to go into an account managed by the council, and then Trinity could draw on that but not entirely sure.
