Can I just say a massive thank you for all the comments on here. They are much appreciated, but I have to turn it back around on you guys and gals....

You were the ones with the power, it just needed a little focus, but when you were asked to go out and fill those petition forms you not only succeeded, but you set new standards for this type of effort - in RL terms and in terms of WMDC - it was amazing!

The petition proved, beyond all reasonable doubt, that there was genuine support, in huge numbers, for this development. There was never a discerning voice and, in my time as a supporter, it was the single most unifying event to happen.

I am spending a few days 'chilling', then we'll take stock and review what our next actions are, but today we wake up to a whole new future for our club and, I believe, there will be more good news to come over the coming weeks and months.

Fantastic news and a massive well done to all concerned.

Although we're all chuffed to bits with the outcome, let's not get too carried away just yet.

The road is long and we still have a couple more big hurdles to cross yet.

Onwards and upwards.
