Leigh are scoring points which always bodes well. Teams know they score one or two tries against us and its jobs done. We have no game plan or game breakers despite the improvement in effort.



Huddersfield were pretty ordinary too to be fair and for them I would be concerned that they only managed the one.

Tbf its the quality of players he has more than anything...........especially at the minute playing without Jowitt, Lyne, Tanginoa and now Murphy/. There is no creativity, flair ...we are in big trouble!

Attack needs some work but going from a 60-0 to a game in the balance where the likely top 4 team struggled to score is a good step on for me.

Kay was outstanding in his new role.

He's not a kid, he's an adult who has spent most of his 20 years as an adult involved with rugby league in one for or another. If he didn't think he was good enough, or didn't think the squad would be, he should never have accepted the job.

As dire as we sounded with ball in hand, I’m still not laying the blame at Applegarths door just yet.



Did he give both Lino and Gaskell 3 year deals, no.



Shame we were so poor with ball in hand, we muscled up well in defence.



Not many games are lost by only conceding one try, but then again, not many sides fail to score a try in about three hours of play. We have done both.



Get the attacking part right, and we might get somewhere.

Can’t argue with any of that. The squad looks criminally unbalanced to me and short of numbers in key areas.

The results are what you'd expect with a squad of this quality.

Kay is a much better option than Gaskell there thats for sure and it sure is a step forward after last week. But Huddersfield were definitely clunky with the ball which helped. But to say the attack needs some work is the understatement of the year, it was as poor as i’ve seen from us for quite a while.

I am tolerant but I think that is because I see a bigger picture.

Things went wrong against Wigan and we put a lot of things right. It's disappointing and yes attack needs some work but they should attitude and improvement and I think continuing that will get us the win.

The big picture is that we haven't scored a single point in over 160 minutes of rugby, have shipped in over 100 points against us in 3 games leaving us adrift at the bottom of the table on zero points and with a GD of over 60 behind the other team on zero who have a game in hand over us, and with all of the other teams expected to finish lower in the table picking up wins.
