Those stats show exactly the challenge in the Championship.
We need to keep the average above 3,500.
And we are going to have to do that with home fans.

The ST numbers are encouraging but we need people to come to every game

If we sell over 3500 season tickets, our "attendance" should always be above that number as we cannot sell the same seat/space twice. What happens say, if we sell 5000 season tickets and only half of those people turn up, giving a physical attendance of 2500 ?

IMG counts physical attendance only.
So we need 3,500 people in the stadium.

Just Googled it and according to League Express the Superleague fixtures are due out tomorrow but not sure if the Championship fixtures are being announced at the same time ??
Thought I'd heard beginning of December but not sure ??

That’s down to those on the pitch .
If they produce more than the garbage we saw most of last season the fans will turn up.

Exactly, the bottom line is fans will come to watch a winning team more than anything else. If we perform well then attendances should naturally rise through the season accordingly.

Pre and post match entertainment will help also to a lesser degree.

With most the opposition teams being on our doorstep too I would offer premium tickets for the new east stand to away fans buy a discounted £10 entry to west stand for away fans with free or cheap £5 child offers.

This would encourage the likes of Batley, Fev, Bradford etc to travel in far greater numbers. This imo would be a smart move to boost numbers.

No, that's incorrect.

2023 = 4319
2022 = 4552

To maintain the 3000 fan boundary, we only need 130 fans average attendance next year.

We know that isn't a problem next year.

I might be helpful down the line, for the club to share the balance of adult and kids tickets - we've already got fans of certain other clubs thinking we are cheating our fandom (they seem oblivious to the fact that it's only "bums on seats"* that are counted).

*This means something different in Castleford.
