At the end of the day, even if Bird had been out of this world on Sunday, it is more than likely that Vasty would have disagreed anyway, wittered on about it with post after post trying to 'draw' other people and then when everyone else was bored of the 90 page thread, he would have looked in the mirror, patted himself on the back and told himself 100 times that he was the best. Standard fare over the past X amount of years.

And if you do not think 2 Australian Internationals are top class players I am glad you are not a scout for Wakefield!

I do not fawn over him but i would have loved to see him at Wigan or Wakefield as he is a top class player. who i have seen take teams apart in the best league in the world on his own, that is not opinion or fawning just fact........along with the fact i was not debating with Vasty about Bird's performance of Sunday.

I am certain i never get it right all the once nobody does, been wrong twice on here in the last 6 or so years.

Are you having difficulty in reading if you look closely you will see that I said the 2 aussies' are top class

Course you have pet when your wrong your right. I recall a poster asking you if you had 1 leg shorter than the other and when you asked why he replied because you are going round in circles. you have certainly battered me into submission the only advice I can offer you is if the Latics ask you to be a defender for them take the job clearly nothing gets past you. And before you send a 3 page reply take it as a compliment and not an insult

Correct me if i am wrong Vasty said he did not see anything in his performance to get excited about or something along those lines, i was not in a postion to bedate that as i did not see the performance.

He then said Barrett "Trent Barrett underperformed for Wigan in virtually every match he played in especially the big ones", which is where i entered the conversation as i disagreed with it, supporting my disagreement with a reasoned line of thought.


I then offered an opinion on Greg Bird as the thread was about him predicting he will be a good signing for Les Cats as he is a quality player, a World Class player infact, based on watching the NRL for the last few years.

I never offered an opinion on his performance against Wakefield, as i said on several times i had never seen it.

Its funny the lengths some will go to to try to discredit someone, for posting a reasoned well presented view.

At the end of the day we all have diff opinions and no ones is wrong. If you thought he was great then good for you but not everyone has to think that.
