Is the Owl Lane pitch up to having two teams playing on it for a full season? I have only been to the ground once shortly after Dewsbury moved there, but from what I've seen in passing I'm not over impressed.

At the moment the club are using the stadium pitch for training until the floodlit all weather sports pitch is built in the next year. Until then it could possibly be an issue. If Wakefield moved to the stadium I'm sure something would be sorted

Total capacity now with 3 sides complete is 5100 with just under 1000 seats

What's the feeling at your end about a potential groundshare?

My opinion is I think it could be good for Dewsbury.
We tried to convince Ossett Town to move to our stadium a few years ago. Their supporters seemed excited by the idea, but the aging members voted against the move to stay in their ageing stadium.
Our chairman has said in the past that to own and run a stadium costs a lot of money, especially when it isn't used for 5 months a year.
If we had a tenant or if we sold a share in the stadium it would help towards the costs of running the stadium.
A lot of money has been spent by the club over the past few seasons on the stadium.
Over the next season a brand new all weather pitch and some 5 side pitches are being built, so the stadium and surrounding area is getting better and better each year

Dewsbury will be a disaster for this club, and that's speaking as someone who would follow Trinity there. No good will come out of it long term.

However I concede there doesn't seem to be another option. Carter won't put the money in, not enough fans would put the money in and the council certainly won't either.

So it has got to be a good option on the grounds of there is no more options.

It's a bad option, the fact it's seems to be the only option doesn't make it a good one.

So where has all the money come from to build it and then for all the improvements?
