Awsome this. The event will be covered by Sky on one of their walk about features on Boots n all, and some of the regions press are interested too.
The club have asked every team to match the amount needed to buy the kit, so the charity will get at least 5K plus the money raised at the events.

wow and here's me just say we might get a minute or so on the local news and press hope I can push the ones interested

after high hopes of getting a sponsor for our shirts, talking to their marketing dept at subway they don't give money to sponsor advertising but will turn up on the day and hand out leaflets and put up banners

I'm I reading this wrong or have they got a cheek to come to our event and get free advertising,

anyway would like to thank flipper who has managed to get us some free air time on touchline from what I have been told, and martin who has been given the responsibility to push the event,

under 9s are selling raffle tickets at £10 a throw , the main prize being sponsorship of the kits. So for a tenner you could end up having your name splashed all over the media. Any takers????????

my day off work has been successful as I have been contacted with a pledge for the main sponsor on our shirt, I thought I was hitting a wall every time but feel we are on the home run
