Yeah I have seen some things in Wakey Express off here before but I don't think a coach would say so and so off rlfans says this. But who knows.

I know quite a lot of players look onto forums some admit it. They look to see what the fans are saying about them. (IE) In France last season Wilkes was looking for Voaksey

I know, very funny but he was safely tucked away wasn't he

I'm not suggesting they take it too seriously but I bet they have a gander. Nor am I trying to stop folk enjoying a bit of speculation, but sometimes it annoys me how sure some folk are and when often proved spectacularily wrong never apologise and the do it again and again. Serial bullsh*tters I call them.

Like you, I find it irritating, but in the greater scheme of things, I don't think it really makes much difference. A lot of players are close friends with other players from different clubs, and I'm sure a lot of this info is passed around between them anyway, as it probably always has been.

Coaches will spend time analysing different patterns of play with the various protagonists involved and prepare their side accordingly. Lets be honest, if you're simply not as good as the player lining up opposite you, you can watch as many match videos as you like, but if that player is on his game, chances are you'll still come off second best.

That said, I do wish some people would just shut up and keep their inside information to themselves.

True, but I wouldn't mind if this informed gossip was ever correct. Have to say my limited experience of chatting with players and family has revealed them to be less well informed than I would expect. I wouldn't be surprised to see Brad rested if that's the right term. That said I'd expect him back sooner rather than later as most injuries are either 6 weeks or more or a couple of days. I suspect Drew is just a couple of days that may for good reason be allowed to be a few weeks.

Good news is that Latu and Brough appear to be available so all is not lost.

Can I just say, I’m most grateful for the snippets of info about the likely Wildcats line-up. It has proved to be most useful as I prepare my team for this Sundays clash!

This age groups been missing for a while, 15's won the league last week and the 17's could not win if the other team stayed at home but sadly no 16's.
