If you build to a certain capacity and then have seats all the way round, it will make for less rows along the sides (ie, a couple of thousand will be in the corners), which means that the ground will look smaller generally and will have a fewer number of spectators bearing down on any particular point of the pitch. Also, means fewer seats nearer the centre line, my preferred spot.

So, for me, 15,000 open.

For a 12k stadium I would have it open.

For a 15k stadium I would have it enclosed.

12k may look a bit small if its enclosed but I would take anything at present!

Don't care if it looks small as long as it holds at least 12k I dont care.

But like you say, I would take anything that is up to standard.

Developers would p**s themselves if we asked for anything more than 12000 with our gates at the moment, as for style, I'll take whatever they offer and be greatful.
I think some of us need to stop thinking were big time charlies and get real.

think your missing the point a bit, get this right with the stadium and with JK and Beans and build on this squad then we can be possibly be big time charlies again one day, nothing wrong with ambition from the club and supportes alike :D

I like the look of that 15k stadium. The steep single tiered bowl makes it look very imposing! It reminds me a lot of Spanish football venue's and they are often a cauldron of noise.

If it has to be all seater then the stepper the better for a good view. The view at Tynecastle was excellent (think it was Bradford London) but you got nose bleeds climbing up the stand.

I like to stand but seats are the future.

The old wembley was awful when they put seats in it.

If we go for 12,000 we also need the capacity to expand, filling the corners would be the best option.

Can we transfer the pitch to the new ground?

Think your missing the point! Developers deal in facts with a bit of calculated risk involved, we haven't at any time in super league looked like exceeding our current capacity apart from one off games here and there, I don't think we sold all our tickets for the semi last year.
Our gates this year do not reflect our performances or our league position and that's a fact and as much admiration as we all have for JK & Beans and the standard of rugby at present our gates don't match up so the developers who aren't as biased as us lot won't build anything that ain't gonna be used in there fact based opinion.
By all means plan for increasing the capacity in the future, but unless the good folk of Wakefield get off there arses, 12000 more than enough.
