why would i go on the saints board and moan i aint bothered about them but if you want to compare us with them thats fine as yes they may lose 2 to 3 on bounce but then they will win many on the bounce.we however wont.if you look at my opening post i state that we have done the same for last couple of seasons make a cracking start then fade away badly and ibelive its starting again,yes its only 2 games now but with wigan and hudds(correct me if wrong)coming up it could soon be 4(as i for a million years cant see us winning either the way we are playing) then the confidence as gone and it becomes even harder to win you only have to look at the end of last season for that.thats why i ask the questions of kear and the coaching staff, what have they learned from the last couple of years and why do we play our best rugby when we have a massive injury list

ha ha type what you want cos i am such a idiot for speaking the truth and having concerns for rest of the season unlike the mastermind who came on after the hull game and said how we had 3 big winnable games coming up and we would win at least 2 if not all 3.

tbf. Cats Mad makes a reasonable point and asks a reasonable question.

Looking back ,i think Kear does appear to coach better when it is adverse situations.

All have been occasions that "our backs have been against the wall"

His challenge cup wins with Sheffield and Hull - both underdogs.

i have often thought it would be better for JK if he just had a squad of 17 players that stayed fit all season covering all the essential positions.

Again it appears that when he has more than one player to cover a position/embarrassment of riches - it goes wrong.
An example of this being last season with Brough and Drew - im not convinced he ever worked out his preferred combination.
Today,although yes we were limited for half back options,i think he actually came up with the poorest option - two scrum halfs and by leaving Gleeson out completely he limited the options to change this through the course of the game.But he could still have put Henderson to centre and moved Martin up to stand off to try and give us more width.
I often get the feeling with JK ,that he just wants to get what he feels are his best 17 players out on the pitch,irrelevant of which postion they should play -example being Grix.Kear obviously rates the lad and wants him out there -- even though we have all seen he aint no winger,but being honest if we had a fully fit squad,just were would Grix figure??For me bench every week.

I havent read that many of Cats Mad posts and he could be someone the revels in the club failing - however taking this thread in isolation i think he raises a valid question.

I expected this thread from Catsmad, no comimg on here to offer support or praise just waiting in the wings for a couple of poor results to post and have a dig.


But if any of you post and get insulted or abuse thrown at you then we will deal with it and it won't be allowed to continue, so i can assure you if it continues in catsmads direction then action will be taken.

We need to use this to our own ends, IF danny does want to stay he should be asked to release a press statement stating he wants nothing to do with huddes or any other RL club at this time. Like i said we need to use this to our advantage and forge some good feeling around the club and city following a couple of hard games when we havnt got exactly what we wanted. Something definitely needs to come out from the club to clarify the situation. If Hudds have approached us last week when the rumour first started and we have said "No", then Browns comments are very naughty and surely some form of complaint needs to be made about his latest comments which are bound to have a negative impact from aWakey point of view.

for me we had too many halves on the field at once latu, obst, grix martin, brough, drew, its just too many. grix aint no winger and was doing well before he got injured, my point being yes they are quality but you cant play them out of position just for the sake of it. jk has to make some tough decisions but weve done well this season so far. weve ot to get a win fast cause our blips seem to last 10 games or so. the players are trying, the last few games the defence has been all over maybe due to the injured players coming back.
