Agreed al, but we seariously need to address this situation, we are a community team, hopefully going to play in a new community stadium, I think at £18 we are not giving the community what they want and they aren't coming ( I know that it's not that simple!!)
The comparison made to Barnsley FC is a good one and it shows what value can be had elsewhere, that is what we are up against.
Whilste I believe RL is a superior product to football, we don't expect to pay close to the over inflated prices that go along with it.
Huddersfield Town offer cheaper season tickets than we do and you can take a child in free with you.

also long overdue that the club made some attempt to tap other potential fan bases like taking a decent home game on the road to Barnsley
one like Bradford or maybe even Quins

yea they will come out of the woodwork. THis is a big game get through this a decent draw for quarters then we are in the semi finals again. Come on peeps sort your self out get down and support the team !!!! I certainly wouldnt mind another semi final somewhere aslong as its not Huddersfield.

Yep, i work in Barnsley and theres a lot of interest in RL, 1 guy's already started to come over with his dad to BV and we may just find a few more fans if we did this, even if we lost money on the day it may well be worth it in the long run, and if the new ground gets built at Stanley its only a short hop over.

Plus it would bring back some great Memories at Oakwell

Thats the problem, we all make the effort on here, it's the one "off here" that we need.

Maybe if we offered them free membership on RLFANS that may work

We will be lucky to get 3,500 which is shocking.

Doesnt help Leeds United being on TV just before us I suppose, and the mere fact we are on the BBC will affect the gate by a fair bit.

Thats the worry, they'll all be glued infont of the TV screens watching that. By the end of the game they will have been on the beer for an hour or two.
Will they then get off their lard arses or will they continue sitting there with pint in hand and watch Wakey on the telly?

Thats why I disagree with some of the people who say the price is too high, the beer supping sporting public of Wakey would not be tempted to Belle Vue even if the entrance was free. To them anything on a television screen with pint in hand is better than a live game.

be intresting to see all the attendences this weekend, not just ours, cant see any of the games getting big numbers to be honest.
