As a neutral who thoroughly enjoyed the game, I think you're mean blaming Dale Morton for anything. He was one of a team who collectively lost their heads in the final ten minutes. Why didn't your captain or your halves direct play so that you would secure territory when it became obvious that nobody could kick a dropgoal? That is where Wakey lost the match in reality. Both teams were neck and neck up to that point. But neither side deserved to lose that match, it was one of those games. The Challenge Cup often is!
I hope your team of largely inexperienced, exhuberant and talented players will now be able to pick themselves up from that loss to fight on in the league, especially Dale Morton.
