for all those who say they don't want to see morton in a wakey again and that he's not good you can seriously pi$$ off, sure he lost it at the end, but we should move on besides morton wasn't the only bad player today, hyde's kicking was too predictable and easy for mathes/owen/dixon

Was the rip started before or after the hooter started sounding? I couldn't initially help thinking he relievedly ripped it out knowing the first spell had finished and he couldn't possibly be penalised.

You already bagged him for it, why look for other reasons.

Success is not final; failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. (Winston Churchill)

Re: dale morton : Sat May 21, 2011 4:20 pm
As a neutral who thoroughly enjoyed the game, I think you're mean blaming Dale Morton for anything. He was one of a team who collectively lost their heads in the final ten minutes. Why didn't your captain or your halves direct play so that you would secure territory when it became obvious that nobody could kick a dropgoal? That is where Wakey lost the match in reality. Both teams were neck and neck up to that point. But neither side deserved to lose that match, it was one of those games. The Challenge Cup often is!

I hope your team of largely inexperienced, exhuberant and talented players will now be able to pick themselves up from that loss to fight on in the league, especially Dale Morton.

Sorry that you lost as Wakey played their hearts out. Hopefully you'll pick up some more wins to get yourselves in the top 8 in Superleague.

I wanna know if he's just stupid or thought giving a pen there was a good idea just before we had the massive wind advantage. There didn't seem to be any threat, especially as the hooter was sounding. Ripping out was dangerous giving we had no more players on the edges.

Together we are stronger without bad apples.

The standard of both teams was very poor, yet another 10 point lead thrown away,we shud have scored on their line at 16-6 and it was a turning point cos cas were on their booty, typical trinity.!

Well surely you should know that being a bit that way yourself.

True but its not the players that are the bad apples its stay away can't be bothered fans who just "give it large" on here.
