Ok. As it has been a while, and being the off season I don't see some of you here's a quick update on Leon's progress. All the components of his original operation appear to have been successful, the initial follow up appointments have all been good news. However, as with any major heart issues further issues can arise at any point, and one thing that we hoped would correct itself hasn't. The upshot of this is that little - Leon will need a procedure called a balloon catheter angioplasty to try and correct an issue with his pulmonary artery. We are. Awaiting a date for this hopefully soon. Allayed to this he has some "developmental" issues, again, not uncommon with his type of condition, so he is off for an MRi scan off his bowel in the next couple of weeks, to identify what remedial action is required. While this may all sound a bit negative, it's not how we view it. The little lad has been through so much already, this is, we hope, just the final prices of the very difficult jigsaw of putting everything right. He just smiles, laughs, demands and gives out loads of hugs, and keeps patting the Wildcat logo on my shirt! Hopefully he will be fully up and running come the new season, his blog is updated fairly often on http://www.little-Leon.blogspot.com Hope to see you all soon Thanks for taking the time to read this. Don, Helen & little Leon

I really hope that you can start to see light at the end of the tunnel now mate and Leon gets this procedure successfully out of the way and onwards and upwards.
I am sure that I can speak , on this occasion , for ALL of the Cas fans and wish little Leon all of the very best , He truly is an inspiration to us all , and with all of the banter that flies between the two clubs , not always of the best of nature , he can remind us all of what really matters in life . Our thoughts and prayers are with the little fella . Good luck
Glad to hear that things went well with the last operation. Hopefully his future treatment(s) will be as successful. Thanks for keeping us up to date and best wishes for the future.

"Quote" But perhaps most impressive is another bumper Wildcats home crowd – 9,237 for a Saturday TV game in the cold and wet is a fine effort from one of Super League’s most progressive clubs "Gareth Walker the Mirror"
