Sent from my steam-powered Sinclair ZX81.

After today's performance, just re-signing Batch would do for starters

Unofficially the most boring poster on Cherry and White.

Imagine that compared to how we were say 2/3 weeks ago. Outstanding up turn by the club. On the back of these performances now, it would be nice to confirm a signing or two for next season seeing as we now have a 6 point buffer, just to show positive direction for next season. Poching confirmed we are down the road with a few players

You would hope any issues getting players to commit to is easing with every win.

Attracting players for next year is crucial and getting business done early is so important for our prospects in ‘23.

Turn Salford over next week and I would say we are there or there abouts.

Toulouse will have been targeting the Cas game as one they can win. Losing that game and us picking up the win will not be good for their moral and hopefully causes a few heads to drop.

Yes 100%, I thought Toulouse would get the job done but credit to Cas. I can imagine things being very busy behind the scenes regarding retention and signings etc. I just hope we’re not too late and miss out on solid recruits, but I guess time will tell. Saying that, Thomas Mikaele made Eddie Battye look like Payne Haas today, if that’s what’s dropping out of the NRL currently then all teams will be struggling for quality not just us!

Totally agree, but if we have let him slip through our fingers, huge error of judgement.

Tbh I wasn’t that bothered about Batch either way as his style of S/R are fairly common. However his sudden mastery of centre play puts a whole new spin on it. For me he’s now a more valuable player than he was three weeks ago.

One of the first games I've missed this year and sounds like I missed a belter. Beat Salford and Tolouse and we can breathe easy I reckon.

This world was never meant for one as beautiful as me.

WTRLC 2012 to 2014 "The wasted years"

Magic Weekend "Whipping Boys" 2013, 2014 & 2015

2017 - The year the dream disappeared under Grix's right foot.

2018 - The FinniChezz Bromance

2019 - The return of the Prodigal Son.

2020 - Keeping the faith.

Thought Whitbread was our top performer in that 1st half. Been critical of Battye recently but he came on a looked like the Battye of the loan period.

He also has another benefit in that he is a Wakey lad. This team has always been good when we have had a fair few local lads playing. Its good if you can build a team around a core of local players.

Whitbread is turning into one of the cornerstones of the team. Think he could be a great player for us. Proper solid. Doesn't do fancy stuff but just tonnes of hard work in attack and defence.

Nobody had a bad game tbh. Thought Lineham was great also.
